Kidepo Valley National Park in the North Eastern Uganda bordering Sudan. Game drives, cultural visits to kraals and karamojong homesteads called Manyatas. View the rolling savannah grasslands. Nature walks.

Kidepo Valley National Park is located on Uganda 's border with Sudan and Kenya in the extreme corner in the Northeast of the country. The park comprises rolling savannah grasslands and rugged spectacular mountain landscape. The park is accessible by road or by Air from Entebbe . Kidepo is considered one of the wildest, original African parks in Africa , offering a great experience of nature and game viewing.

Day 1 (departure on Friday)
You will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport to board a chartered light aircraft to Kidepo. Arrive at Apoka Lodge. After lunch, enjoy panoramic views of the Narus River Valley and photographic opportunities of wildlife from the verandah of the lodge. An evening game drive along the Narus River Valley for game Viewing and photography of Elephants, herds of Buffaloes, Jackals, Jackson 's Hartebeest, Klipspringer and possibly Lions. Dinner and overnight at Apoka Lodge.

Day 2
After an early breakfast, go for a morning game drive to Kanangorok hot spring. A variety of animals can be seen roaming around including Ostrich. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon have a cultural experience that will bring into contact with Karamjong peoples at Karenna and Kapedo. Meet the local elders and have an opportunity to interact with them. They will show you the kraals, the grinding stones and many more interesting items. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Another day to enjoy wildlife and African landscape in Kidepo. Full board accommodation in Apoka Lodge.

Day 4
After breakfast, visit the bird hide and enjoy a guided nature walk. Return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch board your chartered flight back to Entebbe . Airport pickup to return to Kampala late in the evening.

The tariff includes:

  • Full board accommodation at Apoka Lodge, including drinks
  • Park entrance fees
  • Game drives, cultural visits to the kraals and Karamojong Homesteads called Manyatas

The tariff excludes:

  • Airline return ticket. Entebbe-Kidepo-Entebbe
  • The safari excludes any cost of personal nature e.g. drinks, tips, laundry, telephone, cigarettes etc
