Stone Town
Plan to visit Stone Town in Zanzibar. Amongst other cultural site, you can see visiting the central market, the Anglican Church, the National Museum, Tip Tippu House (House of a famous Slave trader), House of wonders, Livingston house, the old dhow harbor and the old Arab fort. You cannot miss the “Spice tour” visiting the gardens containing exotic and endemic Spice and fruit trees (cinnamon, nutmeg, black pepper and many other rare pants such as henna, lipstick tree).
Chumbe Island Coral Park
The Chumbe island coral park is reachable by boat every day from Stone Town. It is a nature reserve with forests and a protected reef. The accommodation is at Chumbe Lodge in eco-friendly bungalows. You can enjoy the forest and marine trails, bird watching, snorkeling.
Mnemba Island
The island of Mnemba is a private tropical island small 1 km circumference and located 20 minutes by boat from the North Eastern shores of Zanzibar. It has unspoilt beaches and coral reefs. It has accommodation in bungalows and restaurant. Relax on the beach or you can also do fishing, scuba diving, boating.
Mafia Island
Mafia Island is the fishermen paradise since you can find here marlin, sailfish, shark, kingfish, barracuda, wahoo. Diving is spectacular. Accommodation is possible in several beach resorts.
Pemba Island
Pemba island is located north of Zanzibar. The sea is deep up to 800 m. and this makes the island an important fishing destination. Forest trails are found in the island, there are some archaeological sites to explore, other than cultivation of spices like cloves. There are several lodges available in the island, with incredible views and beach locations.
